ANA posts 2% drop in domestic passengers in April

All Nippon Airways (ANA) said the number of passengers on its domestic flights in Japan fell 2% to 3.07 million in April, from 3.13 million passengers in the same month in 2023. ANA said in its monthly traffic report domestic available seat kilometres (ASK), a measure of capacity, was down 3.1%, while international capacity expanded 11.7% year-on-year. The airline's domestic passenger load factor edged 0.1 of a percentage point higher to 66.9%, while the international passenger load factor climbed 0.7 of a percentage point to 76%.
