Jetstar Airways introducing Brisbane-Bangkok in peak Xmas season

Read More » The LCC will fly the route with 787-8s and be the only airline to operate nonstop Brisbane-Bangkok. “With Jetstar’s three direct flights each week from December and great low fares, it has never been easier or more affordable to fly to Bangkok from Brisbane. We expect this new route to be incredibly popular,” Jetstar Group CEO, Stephanie Tully, said. “This is our 20th Brisbane route in Jetstar’s 20th year of flying. We are focused on delivering for our customers with more routes and aircraft on the way.” Establishment of Brisbane-Bangkok has been supported by the Queensland government. The Qantas Group carrier flies Melbourne-Suvarnabhumi and will start Perth-Suvarnabhumi in September. It also serves Phuket from Melbourne and Sydney with Perth-Phuket to commence in August.
