Capital A delays distribution of AirAsia transaction circular to shareholders

Read More » The document is required to detail Capital A’s proposed transaction with AirAsia X (AAX). Last January the two parties agreed to AAX’s proposed acquisition of the aviation businesses, AirAsia Berhad and AirAsia Aviation Group Limited, from Capital A. The parties signed a conditional sale and purchase commitment in April. “On behalf of the board of directors of the company, RHB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce the company submitted an application to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad for an extension of time, to July 31, to submit the draft circular in relation to the proposals,” Capital A said in a regulatory filing. Capital A expects to have equity of 18.9% in the new holding company.
