Air Serbia to launch second route to China

Read More » It will be the Serbian carrier’s second destination into China after Tianjin. “When we re-established direct flights between the Republic of Serbia and the People’s Republic of China on December 9, 2022, after a hiatus of more than two decades, we again opened the doors of Asia to passengers from the wider Balkan region. The service significantly contributed to boosting cooperation and bilateral relations between Serbia and China, positively stimulating economic growth, trade relations, tourism and cultural exchange,” Air Serbia CEO, Jiri Marke, said. The Serbian national airline added it is in ongoing negotiations with major Chinese airlines with the intention of offering its passengers connectivity with other Chinese cities and destinations in East Asia, Southeast Asia and Australia. Air Serbia operates two A330-200s with a third of the type scheduled to join the airline’s fleet in coming months.
