Rex director and shareholder calls for board changes

Regional Express (Rex) director and major shareholder, Lim Kim Hai, has requested a general meeting of shareholders intended to remove four members of the domestic carrier’s board and appoint two new directors. Read More » Rex said, in a regulatory filing, Lim wants to table motions to remove Lee Thian Soo, Ronald Bartsch, John Sharp and Jim Davis and appoint Lim Kang Song and Mukul Soul as directors. “The company will comply with obligations under the Corporations Act and will update the market in due course,” Rex said. Lim stepped down as Rex’s executive director in June, but has remained on the board as a non-executive director.
