China Southern Airlines passenger numbers grow 10%

China Southern Airlines (CSA) transported 13.1 million passengers on its domestic, regional and international networks in June compared with 11.9 million passengers in the same month in 2023. Read More » Domestic passengers carried rose 5.2%, to 11.5 million, and international passengers flown jumped 72.8% to 1.4 million in the 30 days against the previous year. CSA’s update said capacity expanded 12.5% year-on-year in the month and passenger load factor was 3.9 percentage points higher, at 83.4%. The airline reduced its fleet to 907 aircraft in June withdrawing an A330-200, a 737-800 and one A320 from service.
