Korean Air and Hanjin Group chairman and CEO, Walter Cho, has received the Korean Academic Society of Business Administration (KASBA) top management award at KASBA’s 39th management awards. He also was commended for maintaining the sustainable growth of the domestic aviation industry with “his bold decision” to acquire Asiana Airlines and his proactive environmental, social and governance efforts and community outreach.
AIP Capital has hired Dimuth Fernando to head its Singapore office and lead expansion in the region. Previously, he has held senior positions at Jackson Square Aviation, Boeing and Embraer.
