Thai AirAsia X heading back to Sydney in December

Thai AirAsia X (TAAX) will return to Sydney from December 1 with an increased schedule of six flights a week out of Bangkok’s Don Mueang Airport. Read More » The LCC suspended four times weekly Bangkok Suvarnabhumi-Sydney at the start of the month while it shifted all of its remaining operations from Suvarnabhumi to Don Mueang. “Thai AirAsia X is returning to Sydney with a better network, schedule and enhanced connectivity spanning more than 50 Aussie favourite destinations in Thailand and beyond to meet strong demand,” TAAX CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, said. “With Thai AirAsia X operating out of Don Mueang Airport travellers will be able to connect with more Thai AirAsia destinations in Thailand and internationally, particularly high demand India.” TAAX plans to operate 11 A330-300s by year-end from eight of the type at present. Previously, TAAX also served Brisbane and Melbourne Tullamarine from Suvarnabhumi.
