Boom Supersonic said its XB-1 test aircraft has successfully completed its third test flight at the Mojave Air and Space Port in California. During the flight, the aircraft reached maximum pitch and yaw attitudes and its landing gear was retracted and extended at a higher top speed.
Cathay Cargo has added a track-and-trace feature to its courier service providing greater visibility for customers sending e-commerce shipments, personal effects and documents. The tracing feature is in partnership with Cathay Cargo's general sales agent, Linex.
Fiji Airways has commissioned two new CAE 7000XR full flight simulators for its A350s and ATR 72s and two new CAE 500XR fixed training devices for the A330 and 737 Max 8 for its training academy.
Safran Aircraft Engines plans to acquire U.S.-based aircraft engine parts repair company, Component Repair Technologies (CRT), for an undisclosed sum. The transaction is expected to close by year-end dependent on regulatory approval.
