China Southern Airlines carried 16.1 million passengers in latest month

Passenger numbers at China Southern Airlines (CSA) were 13.5% higher, at 16.1 million, in August compared with 14.2 million customers in the matching days in 2023. Read More » CSA’s international passengers increased 54.1%, to 1.7 million, domestic operations recorded 10.1% passenger growth, to 14.2 million, and its regional schedule carried 12.7% more passengers, at 182,680 for the month. Passenger load factor was 87.2%, up 6.3 percentage points from a year earlier, and capacity increased 12% year-on-year.
