Thai AirAsia X to complete transfer to Don Mueang this week

Thai AirAsia X (TAAX) will shift its operations on October 1 from Bangkok’s major airport to near-in Don Mueang. Read More » Flights to Nagoya Centrair, Osaka Kansai, Seoul Incheon, Shanghai Pudong, Sydney and Tokyo–Narita will fly out of Bangkok Don Mueang from October 1. “The airline is ready to operate out of Don Mueang airport providing more seamless connectivity onto the majority of other Thai AirAsia or Thai Airasia X services to and from Bangkok,” TAAX CEO, Tassapon Bijleveld, said. “Guests traveling on Thai AirAsia X during the transition period are highly recommended to review flight schedules before departure.” Passengers have been sent notification emails about the airport change and the impact on their flights. While TAAX is leaving Suvarnabhumi, sister carrier, Thai AirAsia, will continue to operate four domestic routes from the airport in addition to its schedules from Don Mueang.
