Regulator approves Air India application to move aircraft interior modifications in-house

Air India is to commence its own aircraft design modifications. Read More » The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted the airline Design Organisation Approval (DOA), designated as CAR 21 approval. Air India has collaborated with Tata Technologies to enhance its aircraft interiors in line with CAR 21 approval, a statement said. “India’s aviation sector is on a growth trajectory and Air India is playing a leading role in it,” Air India CEO, Campbell Wilson, said. “The approval reaffirms our capabilities to maintain our fleet and our commitment to enhance customer experience of our aircraft interiors.”
