Thai Airways International boosts results from one-off gains

It was the flag carrier’s eighth consecutive quarterly profit, however, net profit for the nine months to September 30 still declined 6.9%, to 15.2 billion baht, THAI said in a regulatory filing. In a LinkedIn post, commercial advisor to the airline’s CEO, Otto Gergye, said: “THAI is well into a strong 2024 fourth quarter with its 59 wide-bodies and 20 narrow-bodies operating 225 flights a day to 65 destinations.”
