Star Alliance has opened a lounge in terminal 1 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, its first in Asia. The lounge is available to First and Business class passengers and Star Alliance Gold status customers on member airline flights.

Sabre Corporation has secured New Distribution Capability (NDC) connectivity with EVA Airways that allows the Taiwan-headquartered carrier to integrate with Sabre’s global distribution system.

Thai SmartLynx Airlines has received its Air Operator License (AOL) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.

China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd’s CDB Aviation Lease Finance DAC has entered into sale and purchase agreements with Air Lease Corporation to acquire four A321 family aircraft and two 737 family aircraft.
