EVA Airways adds to Hello Kitty fleet with “Pinky Jet”

EVA Airways and Japan’s Sanrio have introduced a second Hello Kitty-themed jet to the Taiwanese carrier’s fleet. Read More » The first of the themed 777-300ERs, “Besties Jet”, debuted on EVA’s Taipei-Chicago route in August. EVA said the A321 “Pinky Jet” made its inaugural flight on December 4 operating Taipei-Sendai-Taipei. The “Pinky Jet” is the first Hello Kitty aircraft to have its entire fuselage painted in pink. EVA will commence a Hello Kitty-themed service to Paris next year with 777-300ER Lolly Jet, increasing the airline’s Hello Kitty fleet to six aircraft.
