Air Canada to add third ASEAN destination to network

Air Canada will launch nonstop three times a week Vancouver-Manila at the start of second quarter 2025 and increase the schedule to four flights weekly in May. Read More » The route, to be flown with 787s, will join seasonal Vancouver to Bangkok and from the west coast Air Canada hub to Singapore. The Star Alliance member said it will continue its international strategy of expanding to large, fast-growing markets presently un-served directly by Air Canada. The airline’s vice president revenue and network planning and president for cargo, Mark Galardo, said: “With an extensive domestic and trans-border network in Vancouver designed to connect seamlessly to our international flights, we are making travel between North America and the Philippines even more convenient for leisure and business travellers.” Air Canada will be the second airline flying the route alongside Philippine Airlines.
