Emirates Airline to operate retrofitted 777-300ERs on Dubai-Melbourne route

Emirates Airline is adding a third daily nonstop service to Melbourne that will be flown by 777-300ERs fitted with the Dubai-headquartered carrier's new business class seat. Read More » The additional Dubai-Melbourne service is scheduled for launch next March 30. At present, Emirates flies Dubai-Melbourne twice daily with A380s and once a day Dubai-Singapore-Melbourne with 777s. On March 30, the one-stop flight via Singapore will be replaced by the third daily nonstop Dubai-Melbourne rotation and a fourth daily nonstop Dubai-Singapore route. Emirates, which operates to Australia 77 times a week, code-shares with Qantas Airways on flights from Australia to Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
