Australia recorded 10.9% increase in international air travellers in November

Passengers flying into and out of Australia were higher, at 3.5 million, last November compared with 3.1 million air travellers in the same month in 2023. Read More » Capacity, or available seats, expanded 7.6% to 4.3 million and passenger load factor was two percentage points higher at 81.4%. Qantas Airways was Australia's largest international carrier by passenger numbers with a 17.3% market share followed by Jetstar (11.7%), Singapore Airlines (9.8%) and Air New Zealand (7.2%). SIA transported the largest volume of freight into and out of the country for the 30 days with a 14.5% cargo uplift.
