Philippine Airlines to open Manila-Beijing next month

Philippine Airlines (PAL) will start three times a week nonstop Manila-Beijing Capital Airport on March 30 operating the route with two-class A321s. Read More » “We are honored to serve the capital city of the People’s Republic of China, the diplomatic heart of the world’s second largest economy, as our contribution to strengthening air links to the Chinese mainland,” PAL president and chief operating officer, Captain Stanley Ng, said. “The route will boost tourism, enhance trade and deepen friendly ties between the Filipino and Chinese people." Beijing will be PAL's fourth destination in China after Manila to Quanzhou, Shanghai and Xiamen. To date, Air China has been the only airline offering nonstop flights between the two cities.
