Etihad Airways debuts A380 between Abu Dhabi and Singapore

Etihad Airways commenced Abu Dhabi-Singapore A380 flights last weekend when A380 registration A6-API touched down at Changi airport on February 2. Read More » The four-class A380 schedule has replaced the 777-300ERs Etihad flew on the route and is delivering a 28% increase in capacity between the two destinations. “Bringing the A380 to Singapore, along with our broader network expansion plans of increased frequency on key routes demonstrates our strong growth momentum in Asia,” Etihad chief revenue and commercial officer, Arik De, said. Etihad is the only carrier flying nonstop Abu Dhabi-Singapore and is the fifth airline to serve Changi with A380s alongside British Airways, Emirates Airline, Qantas Airways and Singapore Airlines.
