Firefly expands network from Kuala Lumpur Subang

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) carrier, Firefly, will introduce nonstop six times a week Kuala Lumpur Subang (SZB) airport to Kuching and Singapore on March 24 operating the routes with 737-800s. Read More » The schedule to Singapore will increase to daily a week later. It will be Firefly’s second route from Subang to Singapore alongside its existing turboprop service to Singapore Seletar from the close-in Kuala Lumpur airport. “The launch of these routes marks another milestone in Firefly’s mission to deliver enhanced connectivity and convenience,” MAG managing director, Datuk Captain Izham Ismail, said. “Complementing our turboprop services in SZB, we aim to offer customers a travel experience that combines comfort, affordability and efficiency while unlocking new travel opportunities.” Firefly will be the second airline flying Subang-Changi alongside Singapore Airlines Group LCC, Scoot.
