AirAsia X airlines flew 4.6 million passengers in 2024

LCC AirAsia X Malaysia (AAXM) transported 3.99 million passengers in full-year 2024, up 41% from 2.82 million passengers flown in the previous year. Read More » AirAsia X Thailand (AAXT) increased passengers flown by 21%, to 1.61 million last year compared with 1.33 million air travellers in 2023. The AAXM fleet was steady at 18 aircraft, but the Thailand carrier increased its operating fleet from eight to 10 aircraft. "Driven by the reactivation of additional aircraft and a commitment to operational excellence, AirAsia X has expanded its network and increased flight frequencies, leading to higher passenger numbers, improved load factors and stronger route performance, fueling remarkable growth momentum in 2024," the company said.
