Cebu Pacific reports 33.4% increase passengers for January

Cebu Pacific said passenger numbers rose 2.6 million last month compared with a year ago. Read More » Domestic passengers carried improved by 34.6% and international traffic increased 29.9%. Seat capacity expanded by 31.2% in the month and passenger load factor was 1.4 percentage points better at 86.5%. “January traffic saw strong passenger demand, fuelled by holiday travel and the airline’s network and capacity expansion in the past year," Cebu Pacific president and chief commercial officer, Alexander Lao, said. "Load factors remained healthy with international travel demand notably outpacing capacity growth. In 2025, we are committed to optimising our capacity to meet rising consumer demand along with the need to manage ongoing engine and supply chain issues."

The LCC will start three times a week nonstop Iloilo-Bangkok Don Mueang on March 31, the LCC's third international route from Iloilo alongside its existing schedules to Hong Kong and Singapore.
