Airbus targets delivery of 820 aircraft this year

Airbus has announced a delivery goal for full-year 2025 of 820 aircraft, up from 766 deliveries in 2024 but well below the 863 aircraft accepted by customers in 2019. Read More » The European OEM said the acquisition of Spirit AeroSystems has been more complicated than anticipated and has required additional investment. The transaction is expected to be finalized by mid-year, Airbus said. The SpiritAerosystems issues have affected the production of the A350 and the A220, the OEM said. Earlier this week, it was reported Airbus had postponed first delivery of its new A350F to second half 2027, more than a year later than planned. Among the type’s customers are the Asia-Pacific’s STARLUX Airlines (10), Singapore Airlines Cargo (7) and Cathay Pacific Cargo (6). In full-year 2024, Airbus booked consolidated revenue of Euro 69.2 billion (US$72.2 billion) and EBIT adjusted was Euro 5.4 billion for the 12 months. Airbus forward guidance is EBIT Adjusted Euros 7 billion excluding the impact of potential new tariffs.
