SIA group booked record revenue for fiscal third quarter

Group passenger load factor declined 1%, to 87.2%, because passenger growth lagged a capacity expansion of 8.5%. SIA booked an operating profit of S$629 million in the reported months, 3 3% higher than the same quarter a year ago. SIA expects air travel demand to remain healthy in final quarter 2024-2025 even though the operating landscape continues to be competitive. It is well positioned to navigate airline industry challenges such as cost inflation, supply chain constraints, geopolitical tensions, economic uncertainty and increased competition, it said.
