Air India shifting Delhi-Tokyo to Haneda, expanding All Nippon Airways code-share

Air India will place its AI code on ANA flights from Haneda to Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Nagoya, Okinawa, Osaka and Sapporo. ANA, which operates Delhi-Haneda and Narita-Mumbai, will place its NH code on AI flights from Delhi to Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune. The Star Alliance members also code-share on other Japan-India services. “Moving our flights to Haneda Airport is a significant advantage for our guests bringing them much closer to the centre of Tokyo,” Air India chief commercial officer, Nipun Aggarwal, said. “Our deepened partnership with ANA opens up Japan like never before for our guests.” ANA executive vice president of alliances and international affairs, Katsuya Goto, said: “This expansion, with a focus on increased code-share options from Delhi to six destinations in India, will provide customers with more opportunities and seamless connections, delivering a satisfying experience for premium customers in particular.”
