Air New Zealand (Air NZ) has launched its own wine label in partnership with renown vineyard Villa Maria. Named Thirteen Forty Five to recognize the airline’s first flight between Auckland and Sydney in 1940 operated by its predecessor Tasman Empire Airways Limited - 1,345 is the distance of the flight in miles – two of the label’s wines are being served in Air NZ lounges and its premium economy cabins and can be purchased from the airline’s frequent flyer Airpoints store.
