Air China reports reduced losses in full-year 2024

Air China narrowed its losses to 232.6 million yuan (US$3.2 million) in the 12 months to last December 31 from a 1 billion yuan net loss in 2023. Read More » It was the airline’s fifth consecutive year of annual losses, however revenue increased 17.2% to 174 billion yuan for the reported year, Air China said. The Star Alliance member’s 2025 priorities are “to maintain safe operations, enhance profitability with more efficient operations, deepen reforms of the business, improve the passenger experience and strengthen its leadership”.
