Scores of flights cancelled following Mt Kanlaon volcanic activity

AirAsia Philippines, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines have cancelled scores of flights into and out of Bacolod and Iloilo from Cagayan De Oro, Clark, Cebu, Davao, Hong Kong and Manila. Passengers are being offered rebooking on a new flight free of charge or accepting a refund or a travel credit. “In view of the ongoing Mount Kanlaon activity, we have adjusted flight schedules to ensure safety and well-being of our guests and crew,” AirAsia Philippines communications and corporate affairs head, first officer Steve Dailisan, said. “We are continuously coordinating with aviation authorities and will resume operations as soon as conditions permit.”
