China Southern Airlines flew 13.5 million passengers in April

Read More » The total included 1.7 million international passengers, better by 27% year-on-year. Passenger demand was higher by 12% year-on-year, including a 29.5% increase in international travellers. Capacity expanded 8.8% compared with a year ago, the airline said. Total passenger load factor grew 2.5% to 85.6% with international route load higher by 1.8% at 84.9%. During the month, the CSA Group introduced three A321neo, two A320neo, a B737-8, an A319neo and a C919 to its fleet and retired two 737-700s and one 737-800. At April 30, China’s largest airline had an operating fleet of 937 aircraft.
