Easter holiday demand increases Hong Kong airport passenger throughput by 23%

Read More » “The robust growth is attributed to the extended Easter holidays from mid-April that boosted traffic across all passenger segments,” Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) said. “Passenger traffic marked a new post-pandemic high on April 20 (Easter Sunday) when HKIA welcomed approximately 197,000 passengers.” To April 30 this year, passengers choosing to fly from HKIA increased by 20.8% to 55.9 million. Flight movements at the airport were higher by 12.5%, at 32,675, in the 30 days, AAHK said.
