Airports of Thailand (AOT) has reported a net profit of 5.1 billion baht (US$152 million) for the three months to March 31, down 12.6% from a 5.8 billion baht net profit in the same months in 2024. Revenue declined 0.1%, to 18.4 billion baht, AOT said.

Singapore’s Institute of Technical Education and ST Engineering have opened an MRO training facility, the Onboarding Aviation Skills, Knowledge and Innovation Learning Laboratory.

AviLease has signed a firm order with Boeing for 20 737 MAX 8s and options for 10 more of the type.

Australian fuel company, Ampol, has imported about two million litres of Sustainable Aviation fuel from Malaysia for Qantas Airways flights departing Sydney Airport.

Mongolia-headquartered Hunnu Air started Embraer E2 jet operations with an E195-E2 jet operating an inaugural commercial service from Ulaanbaatar to Beijing Daxing on May 11. Flown by E195-E2 registration EI-HUN, it is the first time an E2 has flown a scheduled route to China. In April, Hunnu Airlines received the first of two E195-E2s on order via lease from Azorra.
