All Nippon Airways announces uniform overhaul for air crew and ground staff

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has commissioned three designers to create new staff uniforms. Read More » Naoki Takizawa will design cockpit crew uniforms and Satoshi Kuwata ground staff and cabin crew outfits. ANA employees working in the functional areas of catering, cargo, maintenance, ground handlers and also ancillary staff, will have new uniforms designed by Adidas. "ANA is making a significant investment in design excellence for our new uniforms, collaborating with leading designers and sports brands," ANA CEO, Shinichi Inoue, said. "Our objective is to create a design that is functional and appropriate for the nature of the work, supports employee morale and be globally recognized and admired by our customers. We have assembled a dedicated team to lead the uniform creation process and anticipate a productive partnership with all involved parties." The roll out of the new uniforms will start in the second half of 2027.
