New Zealand freight operator, Airwork Group, entered receivership last week after a shareholder breach of the company’s banking facilities. Calibre Partners is the administrator and receiver for the group.
ASL Aviation Holdings charter and freight business, ASL Airlines Australia, has added a second 737-800 Converted Freighter to its fleet. The aircraft will commence flying this month. The company was known as Pionair Australia before ASL Aviation Holdings acquired it.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and Changi General Hospital are to jointly provide better mental health and wellness support for aviation professionals. "Aviation professionals play a critical role in the success of the Singapore air hub," CAAS director-general, Han Kok Juan, said. "As air traffic grows, we want to better support them, including their mental health and wellness."
Embraer CEO, Francisco Gomes Neto, met with Malaysia’s prime minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, in Rio de Janeiro last weekend before the commencement of the 2025 BRICS summit. Founder BRICS member nations are Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Discussions centred around investment opportunities for Embraer in Malaysia.
