AirAsia Indonesia cannot account for a single day surge in trading volumes
AirAsia Indonesia has told the Indonesia Stock Exchange it does not know why trading volumes in the LCC surged mid last week. Read More » The LCC was responding to the Stock Exchange’s request to explain the sudden jump in trading volumes on July 9 when 614,000 shares changed hands in 32 trades compared with 67,600 shares exchanged in 18 trades the previous trading day. The AirAsia Indonesia closing stock price was unchanged at 78 rupiah. "The company is not aware of any material or information facts that could influence the value of company securities or investors investment decisions," AirAsia Indonesia said in a regulatory filing.
