Cebu Pacific announces 153% interim profit increase

Cebu Pacific has reported a 9 billion peso (US$158 million) net profit for the six months to June 30, one and a half times its net profit of 3.5 billion peso in the same months last year. Read More » Revenue improved 23%, to 63.3 billion peso, Cebu Pacific said. The LCC’s financial performance was underpinned by robust passenger growth, improved operational efficiency and disciplined cost management. "These results for the second quarter and first half of 2025 reflect returns from our strategic investments in fleet and network expansion along with sustained demand for air travel," Cebu Pacific CEO, Michael Szucs, said. "With the Philippines growing economy, favourable demographics and an expanding tourism sector, we remain well positioned to drive long-term growth in low-cost travel."
