IndiGo broadens Saudi Arabia network

IndiGo is starting nonstop flights between Mumbai and Madinah in Saudi Arabia next month. Read More » The new service kicks off on November 15 and will operate daily with A320 aircraft. It will be the LCC’s second route to Madinah, regarded as a holy city for Muslims, alongside existing flights from Hyderabad. IndiGo will be the only airline offering nonstop flights between Madinah and Mumbai. "Madinah is a destination of deep cultural and spiritual significance that attracts pilgrims from across the globe, including India," IndiGo head of sales, Vinay Malhotra, said. "We are pleased to launch this new Mumbai-Madinah route with the objective to cater to the growing demand for religious tourism to the holy city."
