Read More » The return to Brisbane grows Malaysia Airlines’ Australia network to five cities alongside Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The inaugural service of MH135, operated by A330-300 registration 9M-MTO, touched down in Brisbane a little after 0640 local time on Sunday, following its eight-hour flight from Kuala Lumpur. After two hours on the ground, the aircraft took off as the MH134 bound for Kuala Lumpur. The Malaysia Airlines Group (MAG) airline has scheduled five flights a week on the Kuala Lumpur-Brisbane route. "The Brisbane-Kuala Lumpur service marks a key step in strengthening our network in Australia, enhancing connectivity for both business and leisure travellers," Malaysia Aviation Group CEO, Captain Izham Ismail, said. "Queenslanders will now enjoy more convenient options to experience Malaysia’s vibrant cities, rich culture and the signature Malaysian hospitality with Malaysia Airlines." The oneworld alliance member is one of two airlines flying nonstop between Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur alongside Batik Air Malaysia.
