ANA reports lift in net profit for nine months to December

ANA HOLDINGS INC reported net profit rose 3.9% to 139.2 billion yen (US$899 million) in the nine months to December 31 2025, from 134 billion yen in the prior corresponding period. Read More » Operating revenue improved 10.3% to 1.7 trillion yen, the parent company of airlines All Nippon Airways, Air Japan and Peach said in a regulatory filing. "Our record revenue and solid growth over the nine-month period clearly demonstrates the effectiveness of our strategic initiatives," ANA group chief financial officer, Kimihiro Nakahori, said. "We are focused on building on this momentum to capture travel and cargo demand and deliver sustainable value to our passengers and stakeholders." The company said the financial results were buoyed by robust passenger demand and the consolidation of Nippon Cargo Airlines into the business. It said the impact of the Mainland China government’s travel advisory for its citizens to reconsider travel to Japan amid geopolitical tensions "remained limited". ANA reaffirmed its forecasts for net profit to be down 5.2% at 145 billion yen for the full fiscal year, which ends on March 31 2026, while operating revenues were expected to be up 9.6% at 2.5 trillion yen.
