Nine companies - Boston Consulting Group, Changi Airport Group, DBS Bank, GenZero, Google, OCBC, Temasek, Singapore Airlines and Scoot - and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) have signed a memorandum of understanding to trial Singapore’s procurement program for the purchase of sustainable aviation fuel from the CAAS-established Singapore Sustainable Aviation Fuel Company. "We are encouraged by the strong commercial interest," CAAS director-general, Han Kok Juan, said. "With greater awareness, we hope more will join."

Malaysia Airports Holdings and Cenergi SEA have opened their joint-venture solar park and battery system project at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) aeropolis precinct. The project is designed to supply energy for operations at KLIA. The facility is expected to deliver 46 GWh of electricity over its 25-year lifespan, which was enough electricity to power 13,000 homes a year.

ST Engineering has integrated maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capability for aircraft airframes and nacelles into a single facility in Singapore. "By streamlining communications, maintenance scheduling and work scope management, we now offer a true one-stop experience that allows our customers to focus on flying and growing their business," ST Engineering president of commercial aerospace, Jeffrey Lam, said.
