Vietnam Airlines headed to the Netherlands

Vietnam Airlines will add an eighth European destination to its international route network from June when it begins flying to Amsterdam Schiphol from Hanoi. Read More » The SkyTeam alliance member has scheduled three flights a week on the route starting June 16 with A350-900 aircraft. The flights have been scheduled as lunchtime arrival in Amsterdam and early morning arrival in Hanoi, timings which allow connections to onward destinations at both ends of the route. It will be the only airline flying nonstop between the Netherlands and Vietnam. Currently, Vietnam Airlines flies to Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Milan, Moscow, Munich and Paris in Europe. Vietnam Airlines executive vice president, Nguyen Quang Trung, said the route created new growth opportunities for the carrier, as well as contributed to deeper cultural, economic and trade ties with Europe.
