Kansai Airports announced the opening of the new Credit Card Members Lounge “NORTH LOUNGE” on April 1, 2026, in the international departure area of Kansai International Airport (KIX) Terminal 1. This lounge was newly established by consolidating several credit card lounges scattered throughout the wing areas of the international departures zone in Terminal 1 into a central location.

ANA Holdings said it recently completed long-distance medical supply drone delivery trials in Okinawa Prefecture, validating the use of VTOL fixed-wing drones to transport prescription pharmaceuticals and research blood samples across remote islands. The trials were conducted from October 19, 2025, to January 29, 2026, using VTOL fixed-wing drones capable of vertical takeoff and landing, while cruising efficiently at high speeds over long distances, similar to a fixed-wing aircraft.

At ITB Berlin 2026, Sabre unveiled the “single, unified, AI-first platform, purpose-built for velocity to innovate for whatever comes next.”

IPR Conversion announced that the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has officially approved its Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the Large Cargo Door conversion of the ATR 72-600.
