T’way Air boosts demand by adding international transit service option

Read More » The airport is the second point, where the LCC’s passengers can use the transfer service, after it was introduced at Daegu International Airport on April 7 last year. Daegu has handled about 4,000 transit passengers in its first year, with monthly traffic surpassing 1,000 in March, the LCC said. The inauguration of the transfer services boosted demand on the T’way’s international routes from Daegu to Taipei, Osaka, and Tokyo Narita. The LCC said that now it replicates this model in Jeju, operating transit routes such as Singapore-Jeju-Fukuoka, becoming the only carrier currently offering international transit on Japan’s southern resort island.
