Cebu Pacific said it flew 2.27 million passengers on its domestic and international flights in April, little changed from the 2.28 million travellers carried in the same month in 2025. Read More » The LCC’s domestic passengers was 0.1% lower at 1.67 million, while the number of international flyers dropped 2.3% to 602,000. Cebu Pacific grew capacity, measured by available seat kilometres (ASK), 4% in the month, while demand, or revenue passenger kilometres (RPK) slipped 6%. With capacity rising and demand falling, passenger load factor was down 9.4 percentage points at 74.4%. "In response to fuel price pressures linked to geopolitical tensions, we implemented measured fare adjustments and surcharges across parts of the network," Cebu Pacific chief commercial officer, Xander Lao, said in a regulatory filing. "While these were initially absorbed by the market, we subsequently saw signs of demand softening, reflected in slower booking momentum and weaker April load factors. We have since recalibrated pricing, including rolling out targeted seat sales, with early indications of a booking recovery emerging in our late April and May booking trends."
