JAL suspends Hong Kong cargo route for aircraft maintenance

JAL Group has temporarily grounded its cargo service flying between Tokyo Narita and Hong Kong due to aircraft rotation adjustments required for scheduled maintenance. Read More » The route, which is flown six times weekly with 767-300BCF freighters, will remain suspended until at least September 15. There are also some frequency reductions on cargo services from Narita to Tianjin and Taipei Taoyuan. JAL will maintain cargo capacity between Narita and Hong Kong through a codeshare with Kalitta Air’s three times a week 747-400F freighter service on the route. "JAL remains committed to maintaining stable and flexible air cargo capacity, enhancing customer convenience, and contributing to the resolution of social issues and the sustainable development of logistics infrastructure," JAL said.
