Malaysia Airlines achieves 91% On-Time Performance for the first half of 2026

Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) reported that in the first half (1H) of 2026, its main carrier, Malaysia Airlines (MAS), achieved an average On-Time Performance (OTP) of 90.8%, consistently exceeding its operational targets and peaking at 93.8% in April. Read More » Concurrently, Firefly recorded a five-year high On-Time Performance (OTP) average of 92.5% in 1H 2026, peaking at 94.2% in March. The improvement in schedule reliability also contributed to a nearly 50% year-on-year reduction in flight delay-related feedback. MAG also announced that MAS has successfully renewed its International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registration, extending its certification through to July 2028.
