Robert Standley has been promoted to manager of FlightSafety’s Learning Center in Seattle. Standley joined FlightSafety in 1996. Read More » Most recently he was assistant manager of FlightSafety’s Dallas Learning Center.

"We congratulate Bob on this well-deserved promotion and look forward to his contributions in Seattle."

IBA appoints new commercial director

The International Bureau of Aviation (IBA) this week announced the appointment of Adil Slimani as its new commercial director, responsible for developing IBA’s airline customer base and revenue streams.

Prior to this appointment, Slimani was a business development and asset manager at Casco Ltd, where he was tasked with new product line support, inventory management, aircraft acquisition, appraisals, part-out management, sales operations support, marketing and commercial operations.

Slimani will report to Owen Geach, IBA’s COO. “After a thorough recruitment drive I am delighted that Adil is joining IBA where his extensive industry knowledge and contacts will spearhead the development of our specialised services for airline clients,” Geach said.
