Airlines: Russia’s Aeroflot has issued a statement saying it is considering conceding its 22 B787 order slots to another carrier. A decision will be made at next week’s board meeting. EVA Air will gradually retire its iconic Hello Kitty liveries through to 2017.

Lessors: China Aircraft Leasing Group (CALC) has launched and priced its second U.S. dollar denominated bond in an aggregate principal amount of $300 million due 2021. The unrated and unsecured bonds will bear an interest of 4.9% per annum, payable semi-annually in arrears. The Hong Kong-based lessor said it intends to use the net proceeds for new aircraft acquisitions, financing its aircraft disassembly centre and general business growth.

Routes: Air China will reduce frequency on the Shanghai-Frankfurt and Shanghai-Milan A330 routes from daily to six-weekly from October 30. Air Seoul will launch a thrice-weekly Seoul-Ube A321 flight starting November 28. All Nippon Airways (ANA) will replace the B767-300ER with the B787-9 on the daily Narita-Delhi rotation from October 30. Asiana Airlines will further increase frequency on the Seoul-Delhi A330-300 route from five-weekly to daily starting October 30. Beijing Capital Airlines will operate its twice-weekly Hangzhou-Madrid A330 service via Chengdu from October 31, and it will add a thrice-weekly Hangzhou-Qingdao-Vancouver A330 flight from December 30. China Eastern Airlines has added a twice-weekly Guangzhou-Krabi B737-800 service. Etihad Airways will add a daily Abu Dhabi-Venice A319 route commencing October 30. HK Express will launch a twice-weekly Hong Kong-Hualien A320 flight beginning December 6. Jin Air will replace the B737-800 with the B777-200ER on the daily Seoul-Danang route commencing October 30. Korean Air will increase frequency on the Seoul-Las Vegas B777-300ER route from four- to five-weekly commencing December 10. Kuwait Airways will terminate its twice-weekly Kuwait-Geneva A330-200 rotation effective October 30, but it will increase frequency to Bangkok from daily to ten-weekly starting that day. Lion Air has added a weekly Denpasar-Kota Kinabalu-Xian B737-900ER scheduled charter. Qantas Airways will terminate its Cairns-Port Moresby Q400 route from October 29, but will launch daily Brisbane-Port Moresby B737-800 service the next day. Qatar Airways has cancelled its planned Doha-Sarajevo A320 November launch, and it will reduce frequency on the Doha-Adelaide A350 route from daily to five-weekly from October 30.
