This appointment follows his re-election as an IATA Slot Policy Working Group (SPWG) committee member for a new two-year term. Both appointments, effective from September 5, were made by IATA director-general and CEO, Alexandre de Juniac.

“It’s a great honour for us to be one of the seven airlines – and the first and only LCC – with a representative appointment in the JSAG,” said director and CEO of HK Express, Andrew Cowen. “We are excited to offer our continuing support to SPWG and contribute Stephen’s extensive experience in planning and scheduling slots for HK Express, with the goal of optimising airport slot capacity which will enable more people to enjoy the benefits of travel worldwide.”
