HK Express appoints new president

HK Express, on Tuesday, appointed Li Dianchun as its new president. Read More » Li was previously the chief commercial officer at sister carrier, Hong Kong Airlines. He is replacing Jimmy Ma. Former CEO, Andrew Cowen, is now working elsewhere in the airline group. In his new role, Li will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management of HK Express, the airline said, adding he would be working closely with executive chairman, Zhong Guosong, “to develop and determine strategies and policies for the airline’s business and operations”. Zhong has been acting CEO of HK Express since the management reshuffle in October.
